A 90-minute consultation is required for any behavior cases including, but not limited to, any dog with a bite history, dogs experiencing anxiety, aggression, reactive or fearful behaviors. Consultations can be done in person or virtual. Virtual consultations are recommended for any dog that is concerned with strangers in their home. $120.00

This approach is designed for those who wish to go session by session rather than booking a package.
Resource guarding, leash reactivity, intra-household aggression, owner or stranger directed aggression, dogs with bite history, muzzle training, aggression when handled, jumpy/mouthy, shy/fearful and demand behaviors.

Are you a member of what is commonly known as the midnight walkers in order to avoid seeing people or dogs on a walk? Do you find yourself filling with anxiety at the thought of walking your dog out of concern that they may growl, bark, snarl or lunge at their triggers (cars, other dogs, people)? This package is geared for you.

- How to read canine body language
- Management strategies to implement immediately to make walks more pleasant
- Leash handling skills
- How to handle triggering situations
- How to begin to change your dogs emotional association with their triggers
- How to incrementally and systematically progress through the behavior change plan

Have you ever had to hold your dog down to give them medicine, eye ointment or ear drops? Is trimming their nails similar to wrestling a bowl of Jello? Imagine if you could have your dog willingly opt-in to having such things done? Cooperative care involves training your dog to not only tolerate handling and husbandry procedures, but to be an active, willing participant.
What you will learn:
- How to get willing consent from your dog
- How to teach your dog to opt in (start button) for procedures and learning the importance of allowing them to opt out (stop button)
- How to complete a baseline body scan
- How to counter condition / desensitize your dog to being handled in areas of concern
- Introducing your dog to necessary husbandry tools
- How to create/use a cooperative care area
